← Back to GreensHow to Cook Bok Choy
Bok choy cooks in minutes. Halve or quarter it lengthways and rinse between the stalks. The thick white stalks take a minute longer than the leaves, so add them to the pan first.
Stir-fry it in a hot pan with garlic, ginger and a splash of soy sauce for two to three minutes, steam it as a quick side, or drop it into ramen, noodle soups and broths at the very end. Store it unwashed in the fridge, wrapped in a damp paper towel, and use it within three to four days.
