Pekham Pear

Packham pears — smooth-skinned, buttery and honey-sweet when ripe. Delicious fresh or sliced into salads. Pears ripen from the neck down — when the flesh near the stem gives slightly to gentle pressure, it is ready. Ripen at room temperature, then refrigerate.
